The main building on Kydathinaion street houses the administrative offices of the museum, the department of the educational programs, the library, the multimedia file, the multi-function room and the main exhibition halls. In the museum you can also visit the following:

  1. The Mosque of Monastiraki Square, which houses a pottery collection, donated by Professor B. Kyriazopoulos. [1 Areos Str., Monastiraki Square]
  2. “Bathhouse of the Winds", the only one of the Public Baths of Athens that you can see till nowadays. [Plaka, near the Roman Agora]
  3. The building of 22 Panos Str., which houses the collection of traditional craft tools, donated by the Company of Folklore Studies.

  • General admission: 2 €
  • Reduced fare (Students of countries outside the EU, citizens of the EU, adults over the age of 65): 1 €
