• Speech therapy

We undertake the treatment of children with developmental disorders, phonological and language difficulties, learning difficulties, mental retardation, stuttering, Down syndrome, irritable X syndrome. In each treatment we aim at the development of non-verbal and verbal communication, the purity of speech and voice.

• Occupational therapy

We help the child to develop skills related to fine and gross mobility, cognitive, perceptual skills, to develop concentration to the degree required for age, in order to help the child to be functional and independent in daily activities of life. At our Center we use the method of Sensory Integration (S.I.) in the specially designed room.

• Psychological support

We deal with ways of dealing with dysfunctional behaviors and managing the emotions of children and adolescents. At our Center, the treatments are done mainly through play, arts and stories. The CBT method is also applied.

• Parental counseling

We help identify and manage their child's difficulties so as to improve the child's psycho-emotional state and consequently his behavior. Counseling can be especially helpful for parents, helping them to accept their child and support him or her in a difficult phase, emphasizing other aspects of his or her personality and life.

• Dealing with learning difficulties

We face the learning difficulties that arise both in the written word as the best known case of dyslexia, and in mathematical thinking.

• Special Education

Through the psycho-pedagogical program, we aim to develop the child's social behavior skills and ability to adapt to social situations, to understand the emotional state, to reduce emotional factors that burden the child, to develop play skills and to help the child to exploit and generalize them.

• Socialization Groups

We cultivate skills related to children's social interaction. Through a series of structured activities, children practice communication, cooperation, assertiveness, conflict resolution, day-to-day problem-solving, decision-making, self-control, expression, and emotion management skills. The groups use activities such as group and role-playing games, fairy tale dramatization, kinetic games, construction cooperation games. The Sherborne Kinesiology Method is often used.
